Jonas Clark founded Clark University in 1887, creating the first all-graduate university in America and setting the university on a course as a leader in higher education. He perpetuated this legacy with a bequest that led to Clark's adding to its offerings a comprehensive undergraduate college. Today, Clark University enrolls 2,200 undergraduates and 800 graduate students from around the country and the world. Jonas Clark Hall, the first building constructed at the University--some 130 years ago--honors the founder and stands watch over Clark's beloved Red Square.
A mosaic representing this iconic building and square will be created from the individual pictures of the Clark University Class of 2020, who in earning their degrees persevered through one of the most historic and challenging semesters any Clark class has ever faced. As it emerges in the coming days, we invite you to come back and explore the mosaic, where you will find a treasure trove of insights, creativity, and information by and about the members of this class. They forever stand together, and we celebrate them.
